12 Days of Christmas: ANTA
It’s the final day of Selvedge’s 12 Days of Christmas 2019, where we promote a different competition on our blog for 12 days. Today, we’re featuring luxury home furnishing company ANTA, which is offering one reader the chance to win a Saltire Benbecula highland tweed cube from its collection of homewares.
Annie and Lachlan Stewart founded the design partnership ANTA Scotland in 1984, to create original home furnishing collections of textiles and ceramic stoneware. Its homewares collection includes carpet rugs, cushions, bespoke carpets, throws, storage bags and cubes in addition to furniture and lighting.
Its popular cubes are both useful and decorative. Firm and robust they are a perfect size to sit on (45 x 45 x 40cm), and also suitable for use as an occasional table. The Benbecula cube is made and woven in Scotland from 100% pure British wool. ANTA’s Benbecula Highland Tweed design is also available to buy as a fabric by the metre, suitable for upholstery, fabric walling and curtains.
Until 6pm tonight (GMT) you can still enter all the 12 Days competitions. We have been delighted to be able to offer prizes from the following artisans and thoughtful companies this year, in addition to ANTA: Mourne Textiles, Bloom & Wild, Wallace Sewell, Stitch by Stitch, Volga Linen, Noir, Designers Guild, Lapuan Kankurit, Bernina, Thames & Hudson and Gudrun Sjödén. We have blankets and throws, cushions, furniture, art books, flowers, clothes and even a sewing machine available to win, so make sure to go back and visit the competition page for full details.
We wish you the best of luck in winning an extra present this year.
