Alison Fitzgerald

Alison Fitzgerald moved to Ireland over 20 years ago and was immediately captivated, not by their locally brewed Guinness but by their tradition of basket making. She has since set up her own workshop ‘Greenwood Baskets’ and weaves beautiful willow baskets that sell nationwide. Fitzgerald’s work will be featured in the craft council of Ireland’s exhibition ‘Vernacular’. Opens 19th Sept as part of the London Design Festival.
