Jessica Russell Flint x Anthropologie
The clothing and homewares brand Anthropologie has announced an exclusive collaboration with British designer and illustrator Jessica Russell Flint. Jessica’s signature vivid and colourful hand-painted prints will be used across a range of Anthropologie garments with a vintage feel, from silk dresses and jumpsuits to printed sweatshirts.
The collection which also includes T-shirts, skirts and blouses, launches in stores and online mid-November. To celebrate the launch, a pop-up featuring Jessica Russell Flint fashion, gifts and accessories will run alongside an exhibition of her original work at Anthropologie King’s Road Gallery, until December.
Jessica is the great-granddaughter of acclaimed watercolourist Sir William Russell Flint. Her intricate designs first earned a cult following through Saatchi Art and social media. By 2016, her client list included Harrods and The Conran Shop.
According to Anthropologie, Jessica’s motto is: “Can you see beyond the end of your nose?” inviting those viewing her prints to look again, look closer and see more detail.
Under her own brand, Jessica Russell Flint creates unique hand drawn, hand painted, illustrated pieces, ranging from accessories to her newly launched ready-to-wear silk clothing and an expanding range of homewares. Inspired by life’s eccentricities and with a love for colour and texture, Jessica’s style is to transform the ordinary into something unusual and collectable. Mixing British Heritage inspired themes with contemporary colours and bold designs, the whole ethos behind the brand is to make the most of life, to embrace colour, and to think outside the box.
