Spring in Style: The Decorative Fair Returns to Battersea Park
This May, the Decorative Fair springs back to life in London’s leafy Battersea Park, offering six days of design inspiration from Tuesday 6 to Sunday 11 May 2025. A favourite among interior designers, collectors and antique enthusiasts, the Fair brings together over 130 specialist dealers offering a curated mix of antiques, fine and decorative art, and 20th-century design – from the 1700s through to the 1970s.

The Spring edition traditionally casts a spotlight on outdoor living, making it an ideal time to seek out sculptural garden statuary, elegant urns, and unique pieces of outdoor furniture. However, the Fair’s offerings extend well beyond the garden, with treasures for every corner of the home including a rich array of textile delights.

Textile lovers will be spoilt for choice. From antique tapestries and historic wall hangings that lend a sense of grandeur to interiors, to a vibrant mix of vintage rugs and carpets brimming with intricate patterns and warm tones, the Fair is a haven for those seeking decorative softness and texture. A carefully curated selection of vintage clothing offers timeless silhouettes and retro charm, while the haberdashery section tempts makers with rare buttons, trims and fabrics that add character to your next project.

Also new to the fair is the Makers Market (10–11 May), a weekend showcase of artisan-made objects, from decorative ceramics to one-off artworks for those seeking something truly original.

The Decorative Fair is not only a feast for the eyes but also a treat for the palate, with all-day dining by Bone Idyll on the Mezzanine. A courtesy coach runs from Sloane Square to the venue, and well-behaved dogs are welcome too.
Whether you’re redesigning a garden, refreshing your home or hunting for textiles and treasures, May’s Decorative Fair is a true celebration of timeless design in a perfect springtime setting.
