Tribal Art London
From Peru to the South Pacific, and from Africa to Asia, world art of all periods, from the ancient to the contemporary, is unveiled at this exciting art event.
Tribal Art London is the UK’s only art fair devoted exclusively to selling fine and original purpose works of art, from 22 international specialists in non-Western Art. Works range from dance masks to metalwork, textiles to tribal adornment, early photography to contemporary paintings, and at prices from under £100 to over £20,000.
Highlights in 2016 include:
Ceremonial and chieftain hats from Democratic Republic of Congo dating back to the early to mid 20th century, featuring glass beads, wicker frames and old buttons.
A Salampasu Idangani Society 'Mufuampo' Mask from the Democratic Republic of Congo made from woven fibre, pigment, raffia, conical headdress in four parts on custom metal stand.

Fabulous! These pieces are so tactile and creative. The top one could be enlarged to a full-sized dress – - with very long sleeves – - and be fantastic! Thank you for always sharing the most wonderful things that always inspire and generate admiration for the incredible creativity of this world!
