Triennale of Craft

Australia’s Indigenous craft is often seen as the poor relation of its indigenous art. However the 2nd International Triennale of Craft, held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan, will help raise its profile. Curators Steven Pozel and Lisa Cahill from Object: Australian Design Centre have accepted an invitation to showcase craft such as woven fibre work by the ‘women with clever hands’ and more contemporary design and installation work. 2nd International Triennale of Craft, 3 to 29 August 2013
