Artisan Project is a collective company that was founded in 2011 when designer Nina Mohammad-Galbert moved from Los Angeles to the ancient medieval city of Fes. Artisan Project design and produce handwoven textiles with their weaver partners as well as creating curated sourcing experiences for anyone with a passion for craft and a desire to connect with the land and artisans of Morocco.

The Mountain Rug was made in collaboration with female weavers who have a rich textile history that is deeply rooted in nature and landscape. It is made from locally sourced wool and is an ode to the beauty of the land, the shepherds and their flock, and the hands that made it. We have one Mountain rug to give away, worth $1200.
