Beki Bright
Beki Bright is a London-based textile designer, screen printer, and dyer, who creates artist-designed textiles for the home. Her collection includes cushions, lampshades, wallpaper, and fabric by the meter, all hand-screen printed and made in London.
Beki’s work is inspired by the English countryside, drawing from her rural upbringing in Suffolk and time spent living in Somerset. Her designs reflect a deep connection to the landscapes, English folklore, county crafts, and countryside rituals that have shaped her experiences.
Her textiles aim to create lasting connections with customers through evocative designs. Beki's distinctive illustrations of sweeping landscapes, rolling hills, corn dollies, and harvest celebrations, paired with vibrant colour schemes, bring the "spirit of place" into everyday life.
Sustainability
Beki's commitment to sustainability is evident in her production process. All her work is hand-screen printed in London on UK-woven linen and cotton. With a small production chain, she maintains complete oversight from design to completion. By producing made-to-order pieces, she minimises waste, repurposing fabric offcuts into samples or packaging, ensuring an eco-conscious approach throughout her practice.
