Turkey, Vedat Demiralp, Black & White Handwoven Goats Wool Rug

Hand woven rug made with undyed and untreated pure goats wool. It is the product of collaboration between Vedat, the shepherds, the spinners and weavers in Turkey. The shearings are purchased from the shepherds during the summer months. They are then hand spun and the selected yarn is hand woven on traditional looms. Vedat's contemporary designs are interpreted and implemented by skilled weavers. The end result is a celebration of the unique qualities and texture of the natural material and weaving techniques.  

Measurements 90cm x 165cm, other sizes can be woven to order
