dlux London
dlux London was founded in 2005 by Lynda Scott, a self-taught designer based in East London. From an early age, Scott had a deep love for fashion, vividly recalling the magic of dressing up in her grandmother’s fur collars and pearls. Growing up, she frequented London’s iconic markets, such as Crisp Street, Roman Road, and Petticoat Lane, which fuelled her passion for style and cemented her ambition for a career in fashion.
After many years working with big brands and running a photographic agency, Scott decided to focus on designing. She identified a gap in the market for beautifully crafted shearling apparel without the luxury price tag. Staying true to her East London roots, Scott draws on the area’s rich history, where many tanneries and manufacturers are still based.
Her design process is influenced by art, sculpture, food, travel, and landscapes, all of which shape her identity as a designer. Each Dlux London garment reflects careful attention to detail, blending tradition and skill. Crafted from unique shearlings, no two pieces are exactly alike. With a focus on timelessness, every design carries a sense of individuality, ensuring each piece is both personal and enduring.
