Germany, Bocholt, LWL‑Museum Textilwerk
The LWL‑Museum Textilwerk celebrates the industrial and social history of textile manufacture in the Westphalia region. Housed in historic spinning‑mill and weaving‑mill buildings, the museum brings to life the technical processes and human stories of textile production from the 19th and 20th centuries — with guided tours, machine demonstrations and immersive displays that illuminate how cloth was made, worn and shaped communities around Bocholt. It is part of the LWL Museums of Industrial Heritage network and an anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
