Launching September 2025 – a new celebration of cloth, craft, and culture across London. Curated by Selvedge, this inaugural edition brings together artists, makers, brands, and institutions for a month of workshops, exhibitions, talks, and open studios – spotlighting the textiles that connect us all.

London Textile Month is a city-wide festival celebrating exquisite fibres and their stories from around the globe. The curated programme of events brings together textile enthusiasts, makers, and designers across industries such as interiors, and fashion for dynamic conversations. London Textile Month will tell the stories behind the most sustainable and beautiful textiles – materials, design processes, designer and maker stories, and more. We work closely with partners to connect them with new and existing discerning customers. Since Selvedge began hosting events in 2010, we have welcomed visitors to a wide range of experiences, including workshops, fairs, speaker evenings, and symposia. The first London Textile Month in 2025 represents the culmination of these experiences. It offers an opportunity to work with all our partners to reach new audiences and raise awareness of the richness of global textile culture. London Textile Month is a platform to connect customers with makers, brands, museums and galleries We will build a programme highlighting diverse voices, experiences, and products.
