Woven Studios

Founded by Laura Miles in 1997, Woven studio has been working with fashion and interior brands for over 30 years. She develops bespoke woven textiles on hand looms and industrially and has worked with artisanal weaving groups throughout the world.
In 2020 Laura launched a collection of clothing made exclusively from organic handwoven cotton by fairly paid artisans in India also called WOVEN. The collection works with handweaving collectives in India that support the most vulnerable women in Indian society and also encourage the growth of handloom entrepreneurs that keep the tradition of handweaving fabrics alive ensuring that they are paid fairly also working with sustainable materials.
Woven studio will be open every Saturday in September from 12-5pm. You will be able to see the handlooms in action and a sample of fabrics that have been designed and woven throughout Laura’s career. We will also have the full collection of handwoven garments.
