We are pleased to announce the launch of the Selvedge 2027 Calendar.
This calendar features 12 beautiful textiles. Printed on white 170 grams matt card, 24 x 47.5 cm.
JANUARY: Detail of Hungarian írásos (written) embroidery panel, c. late 18th to early 19th century.
FEBRUARY: Ainu Hokkaido Mejji period (1868-1912), late 19th century. Cotton, appliqué embroidery.
MARCH: Robe for a male dignitary (boubou riga or agbada), Nigeria, Hausa people, late 19th century.
APRIL: Textile fragment, United States, 1700s. Linen plain weave with silk embroidery.
MAY: Detail of a crewel embroidered gentleman’s undress cap, c. 1610.
